"Welcome to Yosemite Westgate Lodge"
The Yosemite Westgate Lodge is the most modern lodging facility on Highway 120, located just a mere 12 miles from the Big Oak Flat "Westgate" Entrance to Yosemite N.P., and a short 35 mile jaunt down to the Valley Floor and the many popular features of Yosemite including the thunderous waterfalls, Half Dome, El Capitan, Cathedral Rocks, and many campgrounds in and around Yosemite. We offer the ideal place to stay if you are traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.
Our hotel boasts 45 luxuriously appointed and newly remodeled and extremely spacious rooms. Most of our rooms have two queen size beds, making them ideal for families or groups. The Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a 100% Non-Smoking facility and unfortunately, Pets are NOT allowed. All of our rooms have unique photography of the park from our selected professional photographer Scott Sandler. You can find his images for sale at www.sandlerphotography.com. The Lodge has a heated swimming pool, spa, playground, laundry facilities, and an adjacent restaurant.
The Westgate is a horseshoe shaped facility with 6 independent buildings which frame a central area with a playground, heated pool and spa. Behind the property is an expansive meadow where you are welcome to picnic during the day or enjoy the stars at night. The property offers ample space for gatherings with family and friends.

Yosemite National Park embraces a stunning vastness of scenic wildlands in the Sierra Nevada that stretches along California's eastern edges. The park covers an incredible 1,170 square miles of breathtaking natural splendor. Ranging from 2,000 feet to more than 13,000 feet above sea level, the park encompasses vast wilderness, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and groves of giant sequoias that are unparallel to other national parks. Wildlife abounds from the many deer that frequent our property grounds, hence the name of our town, Buck Meadows, to the mountain lions, black bears, bobcats, and many other Sierra animals. Every season brings its own unique picturesque moments, from blooming wildflowers during the spring and summer to the colors of fall and snow in the winter. It is hard to believe that this serene oasis is just hours from bustling metropolitan cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The Buck Meadows Restaurant located right next door offers great American dining throughout the Spring and Summer and with limited hours during the Fall and Winter. With a full menu of good old hearty home cooked meals from eggs and pancakes in the morning to steak for dinner, The Buck Meadows Restaurant is a great place to start your day before your hike and end it after touring The Park. The Buck Meadows Restaurant also offers beer and wine and occasional live music with darts and shuffleboard.

Please follow the directions on our website to get exact directions to our hotel. Note that GPS devices are generally not reliable up in the mountains and if you use GPS to reach our hotel, you will NOT find us. If your GPS device can find the town of Buck Meadows, CA, then it will properly get you to us, otherwise plugging in our address will NOT lead you to us. We are NOT in Groveland. We are 12 miles further East towards the Park past the town of Groveland in Buck Meadows.
We have a 72 Hour Cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel, you must do so by 3 PM 72 hours or 3 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel post the expiration of the Cancellation Period or you fail to show up, a no-show charge will be levied on your credit card for one full night plus taxes and fees.
Note: Our office hours are from 8 AM - 10 PM. If you are going to be later than 10 PM, we can make an exception if you inform us in advance, however if you check in late without consideration, there may be a Late Check-in Fee of $25 added to your charge.
The Yosemite Westgate Lodge is located along Highway 120 with easy access to Yosemite National Park. The closest and most modern property to Yosemite, The Westgate and its sister property, Buck Meadows Lodge and Restaurant make for the last stop before entering Yosemite. We are the only property on Highway 120 with a heated pool and spa and all of the modern amentities you would find in The City.
Free wireless internet hotspots throughout the property. The Yosemite Westgate Lodge has a guest laundry on site and is located adjacent to the Buck Meadows Restaurant. There is a General Store which is open seasonally and has a petrol stop right next door.
Wireless internet is available throughout the entire hotel and is free of charge.
